Q. I am looking at having a facelift surgery, but want to have none invasive treatments. Could you tell me about the options for a non surgical facelifts as well as the cost and recovery time.
A. Non invasive face lifts imply no incisions. If you have saggy skin and jowls, non invasive techniques are not effective as the SMA|S layer and skin have to be repositioned using incisions in front of the ear. I do not have any experience using sillhoette sutures but, having seen the technique demosntrated in San Fransisco, remain to be convinced. I am aware that the London Bridge Clinic offers this service and would advise you to contact them.I personally beleive that a short scar mini face lift (about £2000) or a MACS face lift (about £4000) will give better and longer lasting results. The recovery time is 2 to 3 weeks.LeRoux Fourie
